Does anyone know of a good nursery furniture set that is less pricey?

I'm looking for a crib and dresser with hutch in a dark wood color like espresso. I would like to spend less than $900. I've looked an looked everywhere and can not find anything. I don't really like the DaVinci Emily collection, which I know has alot of options. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • I got three pieces for about $900 from JC Penney. It's the "Christie" convertible crib. Each piece is on sale for 294.00 right now. (Crib, changing table & dresser)

Mind you, it doesn't seem like the most sturdy or durable, but it's pretty nice. I am happy with it.

  • Second hand like Children's Orchard (nationwide) or I got our stuff at Target and Babies R Us. I went with white but we got the changing table for 80 at Target and crib at babies r us for about 160. Mattress was 80 i think.

    Or what about IKEA?
