Maybe eating too much?

My daughter is almost a month old and it already eating 4 oz of formula,she goes through like a can every 3 or 4 days,is that normal?

  • Sounds pretty normal to me. If I recall right my daughter was about 1 1/2 months when she started drinking 5-6oz in a feeding. Remember that they are growing rapidly, and their bellies only hold a small amount, so they have to eat a lot more often.

  • MY SON WAS AT 4OZ WHEN HE WAS A MNTH OLD...AS SOON AS HE CAME OUT HE GUZZLD DWN THE 2 OZ BOTTLE...LOL

  • My son eats 5-6oz every three to four hours (once it was 6oz then 3oz two hours later; I was a little confused). He's 5 weeks old. Your daughter is eating the suggested amount so don't worry.
