Considering an addition to the family

HI ladies, so the hubby and I have 2 sons 8 and 5. we are just beginning to discuss having another baby(hoping for a girl-i am anyway lol...) we're not quite sure tho. we dont have any children post marriage. we always joke about having a legitimate child lol...our inside family joke anyway what do you think about the timing. a lot of thought will go into this. i def. want a summer baby-june so that would require getting pregnant in sept. anyway just wonderin what ya'll think of the spacing and whether or not its good. we prob wont try for another year to have some time to save some more and enjoy this year of not paying for any day care at all.

  • i think the spacing would be fine. i mean me and my sister are 7 years apart and we dont get along very well. but thats because we are SO far apart in age. 5 years isnt TOO bad. i think they could still be close and get along

  • yeah thats what i am thinking. i needed a break with already having 2 boys. i am finally starting to get a break and enjoying it. my dh and i said we werent having anymore after our last but i think it was one of those things where people always say that after they go through labor and are up all night for months. were thinking get preg. fall 2010 and have new baby 2011 making our kids 7 and 11. i guess we'll see how we;re feelign when next yr rolls around if we;re still up for it lol...seems so far away! i dont know we might be talking about it a bit more and trying this fall lol...
