Does it bug you when you answer the phone and a machine asks you to hold.. AND THEY CALLED YOU??

I got on the do not call list but this still happens every blue moon.. sometiems from non profits who can still call.. arg NO IM NOT HOLDING YOU CALLED ME!

  • YES!!! I always hang up immediately . . also if you answer and there's no one there . . . it's a telemarketer of some sort. I ALWAYS HANG!!!

  • I let my fax machine pick up the house phone. If a private number or an unknown number comes up I let it go to voicemail. I can't remember the last telemarketer call I got.

  • Those are usually bill collectors or something like that. I just hang up. If they can't be on the line when they call me, then the call is not important.
