What time do you put your LO to bed & how old are they?

My DD is 2 months old and I put her to bed around 9:30, she wakes up around 3:30 to eat and be changed, then goes back to bed around 7. It's PERFECT because that's what time I wake up to get ready for work & take her to grandma's for the day :)

  • My son is 6. He's in bed between 8-8:30 each night during the school year. He's allowed to stay up until 9 when he's not in school.

  • My son is three. His bedtime has been 9, and he would sleep til about 8 but because of changes in our schedule, I'm thinking about pushing bedtime back an hour. He sleeps through the night, except of course for bad dreams and the occasional accident. He doesn't normally nap. Sometimes he will lay himself down on the couch, but he usually just takes a power nap for 30 minutes or so.

  • My active two-year-old son wakes up at 6 a.m. no matter what time he goes to bed, so I started moving his bedtime earlier and earlier. He now naps from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and goes to bed every night between 6 and 6:30 p.m. I love it!  He used to go to bed between 8:30 and 9 p.m., and never slept later in the morning, so I started adjusting his bedtime a few months before his second birthday.  He is now 28 months and has been on this schedule for six months and it is wonderful.  I make sure he runs around outside for at least 90 minutes before dinner and bath at 5 p.m.

  • My three boys, 5y, 3y, 2y, go to bed at 7:30pm and are asleep by 8:30 and wake up about 7am. The 2y comes into my room though and usually goes back to sleep for a while. My 11m usually goes to sleep about 9pm, when I'm getting into bed, and wakes up to nurse a few times throughout the night and she sleeps til about 8am. (And then naps about 10:30am and 2pm.)
