  • Pulled Pork with Root Beer Sauce....YUMMY!!

    1 2 1/2 to 3 lb pork sirloin roast
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1 Tbsp cooking oil
    2 Medium Onions, cut into thin wedges
    1 Cup Root Beer
    2 Tbsp minced Garlic
    3 Cups Root Beer
    1 Cup bottled chili sauce
    Several dashes of hot sauce

    1) Trim fat from meat. If necessary, cut meat to fit into crock pot. Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper. In a large skillet brown meat on all sides in hot oil. Drain off fat. Transfer meat to cooker. Add onions, the 1 cup root beer and garlic.

    2) Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 8-10 hours or on high heat setting for 4-5 hours.

    3) Meanwhile, for sauce, in a medium saucepan combine the 3 cups of rootbeer and the chili sauce. Bring to boiling, reduce heat. Boil gently, uncovered, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes or until

  • String tied pot roast
    1 small can cream of mushroom soup
    1 cup of milk
    1 packet of Good season italian seasoning dressing packet (just to season)
    garlic salt to season

    6-8 hours serve with mashpotatoes

    Thick pork chops
    1 can cream of mushroom
    1 packet of brown gravy (make the gravy)
    cook 6 hours
    serve over rice pilaf

  • Crockpot beef with beer sandwiches

    1 (2 lb.) chuck roast, boneless
    1 can beef broth, undiluted
    1 can beer
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. basil
    6 French Rolls

    Put all ingredients into crockpot. Cook on low all day. Heat french rolls. Put meat into rolls and pour juice over. Serves 6.
