  • Birth control pills taken continously. Only take the active pills this will stop most women's periods. I don't know about cheap. Maybe get them from planned parent hood or get a cheaper pill.

  • I would figure the regular pills would be more expensive because they are suppose to last you a whole month, but if you only take the active pills you will have to pay for them more often.

There are pills that are made so you only get 4 periods a year, if you want to go the pill method.

But something you take the least option is going to cost the least in the long run. Take the Mirena for example. It lasts 5 years and is 589 or so dollars (without insurance) that is about $9 a month and it stops a lot of women's periods after the first three months.
But the big factors to finding the right bc for you is figuring out how long before you want a child and what your health insurance pays for.

  • i was on the shot, i got my peroid every three months (a friend of mine didnt have one for 10 years on the shot) and it was hardly enough to use a tampon. it was nice, but now that ive been off of it for a year and have been trying to get pregnant since last june i havent been able to. it takes a long time for some women to get back on there "normal" cycle. its kinda depressing. but if you dont want any more kids or atleast not for 3 or four years id go for it.
