How do I get my baby to take a bottle?

My baby boy is now 4 months and has been breastfed since birth. He refuses to take a bottle. I have tried about 12 different nipples. Nothing works. He doesn't like the binky either.

  • Keep offering it, he will not starve. If he is hungry he will eat from what you give him.

  • Just a suggestion but have you tried a sippy cup. I have a friend who's son perfered the breast and refused the bottle but tolerate a sippy cup. Other than that I agree with brailysmama08, eventually they all give in rather than starve. They have too much self preservation. but its tough on your heartstrings. GL!
