  • I just saw this thing on tv that looks like a fan but it really a repellent and you just clip it onto your clothes or put it on a table. It looked really neat.

  • Be careful, most actually react with sunscreen and can be toxic when combined, especially to children. Using Avon's Skin So Soft is a great way to keep bugs off but safe to use with sunscreen as well!

  • We use one called Quantum, made with citronella oil. Be sure that whatever you use is Deet free.

Before purchasing new products, we always check them on the Cosmetic Safety database: http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/splash.php?URI=%2Findex.php (it will convince you to stay away from Avon)

  • ok you are going to think i am crazy but pure vanilla extract or listerine. i swear!!!!! that is what we use because it is obviously non toxic and not nasty! it works for gnats too:) do not use imitation vanilla extract it has to be the pure stuff and any kind of listerine...put listerine in a little squirt bottle and put just a little water in with it and spray it on and around you....it really does work:)

  • 2 drops of lemongrass oil mixed with unscented lotion. It works great! I'm also a big fan of the Avon Repellant with SPF 15.
