  • Make a list starting with dairy products you need, then frozen meats, then deli meats, then whole grain, vegetables, fruits, quick fix foods, foods you have to prepare to make a meal, breakfast foods, canned foods, junk food haha, drink, sauces and marinades etc.

  • Bread. Milk, cheese, juice, eggs, ground beef, turkey, pork, (meats in general lol), shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, tampons, fruit, vegetables, ketchup, mustard (or any condiments) flour, sugar, coffee, snacks, baby food(maybe, I don't know how old ur kids are), butter, yogurt, sunscreen, vegetable oil, salt, pepper, paper towels/napkins, toilet paper, bleach, cereal, oatmeal, bacon, sausage, jelly, peanut butter, tortilla shells, pasta, rice, beans, crackers, ice cream, cake, soy sauce (or anything else like that), I hope that helps jog your memory :)

  • We can't get groceries delivered here. :(

Let's see. I'd say ground beef or turkey so you can make meatloaf. A loaf of bread. A gallon of milk. Two half gallons of juice. A package of margarine. A dozen eggs. A bag of potatoes and one of onions. A bag of carrots. Lettuce. A roasting chicken. A package of hot dogs and one of hot dog rolls. a couple bags of frozen vegetables. a package of fish filets. a box of cake mix. A box of powdered sugar. a bottle of vegetable oil. A couple cans of chicken vegetable soup. A can of tomato sauce. A box of macaroni. A package of cheese for cheese sandwiches plus mac and cheese. a bunch of bananas. a bag of apples. A couple cans of fruit. A bottle of clothes detergent, a couple bars of hand soap. a package of paper towels and one of toilet tissue and one of facial tissue. A bottle of cranberry juice.

  • Dairy for milk, eggs, cheese, yougurt.
Frozen meats for Steak, pork, Chicken, hamburger meat.
Deli meats for ham, turkey, hot dogs, beef.
Whole grain for bread, cereal, spaghetti noodles, rice.
    Vegetables and fruits are self-explanatory.
quick fix foods like hamburger helper, pizza, Oven bakes, pre made, pre packaged type of foods.
Dinner plan foods can be pretty much anything from scratch, so whatever you need to make them.
Breakfast bacon, biscuits, sausage, croissants, pop tarts
canned foods maybe to use as dinner sides like beans, corn, green beans, black eyed peas, spinach
Junk food-stuff you don't need. There's just an idea...

  • I make out a Meal Plan for the week ( or two weeks) and then I write my shopping list with all the ingredients, toiletries, snacks/extras I need. I keep track of the prices of everything and use coupons ( which I have learned can save a bunch).. needless to say I can feed a family of 4 on 180. for two weeks.. ( some might do better) :) Here is a sample menu for this week:
Spaghetti with meat sauce, Italian green beans and Texas Toast
1 dish chicken and veggies, Lemon cake dessert
    Grilled Steaks, baked potatoes salad
BBQ Chicken sandwiches ( in the crock pot), Potato salad, Home made Macaroni and cheese
Tacos, refried beans, rice, baked apples
Italian marinated Chicken, Angel hair with Alfredo sauce, mixed veggies
Chicken parmesan Sandwiches, Rolls, Potato wedges
Then I always buy whatever snacks ( usually includes: pop tarts, popcorn, crackers, cheese, fruit snacks, 100 cal. packs, pringles). and so on
