Am I cut out for work?

All of my friends/family have jobs but me. I just can't find one. I know things aren't so great in the job market but still....

*sigh*

I'm sick of not doing anything for myself.
Any suggestions of a good job? No fast food or waitressing. Tried it. It was awful.

  • You go to school right? Can you get a job at the school you attend?

I know at mine they have a program through fafsa if you check the box that says you are interested in the work study program then the school will contact you and give you a job. Now it does not pay very much and you will probably only work about 20 hrs a week, but it's a job, and sometimes they keep you on after the semester ends.

  • Try working at a daycare, or a school cafeteria, or walmart. If you didn't like waitressing, which is a tough job, or fast food, try something where you don't have to deal with the public. Such as stock person, or cleaning, or work in a factory, or as a custodian... something where you can just work at your own pace? Good luck!
