Does anyone have a problem with an out of control appetite?

It seems like ever since I got pregnant, had my daughter, breastfed, and then finished breastfeeding, my appetite has been so insatiable. I am always hungry. I am not overweight, by any means, but I'm still holding on to a few lbs from the pregnancy, 19 months later. I'm not really concerned with the few lbs, although I wouldn't mind losing them, I just don't want to continue to gain more. Has anyone experienced this increased appetite? Psychologically, do I still think I'm eating for two, even though I stopped breastfeeding 6 months ago??!?? If anyone has any suggestions, stories, weightloss stories, etc, please feel free to share with me. Thanks, ladies! Oh, one last thing, I am always low on energy, as well....

  • Sometimes, this is your body's way of letting you know that something is missing. Here are a few suggestions to help get you back on track.
You might really be thirsty; be sure to drink at least 8 8oz glasses of water a day; add one glass for every beverage you drink with caffiene or alchohol.
Are you eating your fruits and veggies? You should be eating 7-8 servings a day, in at least 3 different colors.
Are you eating your whole grains? 6-7 servings a day.
Are you eating your legumes? At least one serving a day of beans, lentils, tofu, etc.
Feel free to contact me for meal and recipe ideas (no, I am not selling anything)
