Do u think that these little earthquakes are leading up to the "BIG" one?

  • Generally not. There's usually more than 50 small quakes a week in the region. Also, lots of small quakes mean less chance of a big one - the small ones bleed off some of the stored energy, making the "big one" smaller.

  • We also had a recent one in Westlake, CA. I guess you never know..Just be prepared.

  • No. From the 30 years of research I've paid attention to in my life, every time you get a tremor, it's letting a little stress loose instead of having that big one happen. Tremors are actually a good thing.
