What could I give my husband for our anniversary??

We will celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary in one week. I am a SAHM and really dont have much money. I also have NO idea what to get him. My grandmother usually sends us some money, so we go to the movies and dinner. I was wondering what I could get him, or give him? Any ideas will be greatly appreaciated (SP)

  • My husband and I follow the 'traditional' wedding gifts. The traditional 5th anniversary gift is wood. For our 5th, he bought me a fruit tree. Of course, he offered a different kind of 'wood' too. :)
I got him a cord of firewood-- seems lame, but he likes a burning fireplace in the winter.

I don't believe that anniversary gifts need be extravagent or expensive. We do quite well financially, but the simplicity of our anniversary gifts remind us of our humble beginnings and why we're together.

    Happy Anniversary!

  • A money clip with his name engraved on one side and I love you on the other side. Or anything engraved like a flask, pocket watch.
