Tryin to do it myself - Dissolution Packet Question

My soon to be ex husband bought a dissolution packet for us to do it ourselves. We have two daughters together, both were born before we got married. In the packet, it refers to "children OF the marriage." What exactly does this mean? Does it mean children people would have had WHILE married or does it just refer to the kids involved?
