  • With kids, it may be cheaper to drive, but to stay sane, I would fly! Sometimes you can get really good deals.

  • If you can drive straight through without stopping for a hotel each night of the trip, then that route would be cheapest. My idea of hell though is being stuck in the car for that long without the chance to sleep in a soft bed and shower at a nice hotel.

For us it would be cheaper - and saner - to just fly.

  • i agree with the previous 2. i would look into airline rates and hotel rates, gas prices etc and determine which is cheaper. if there isn't that much of a price difference you may just want to fly, which is quicker and more convenient

  • if you were going to rent a car to drive that far then it would be cheaper to fly. But if you use your own vehicle then it would be cheaper to drive. It depends if you can put up with that long drive!

  • spirit air can be dirt cheap if you can get the specials. we had it figured at about 500$ to drive. You need to factor in meals, Hotel (if you stop) How tired you will be if you don't. wear and tear on the car. I have seen spit air club specials for (4 OW.)
