  • yock shoo mash, probably not spelled right but thats what my grandmother used to say to us. Its polish, i guess it means hello and goodbye??

  • Different greetings would apply depending on the situation and time of day.

    Spanish: Hola, buenos dias, buenas tardes and Adios

    Japanese: Ohayo/Ohaiyou Gozaimasu, Konnichiwa, or Kon-ban-wa and Sayonara or Ja-ne

    German: Hallo, Guten morgen, Guten Tag, and Auf wiedersehen and Tschüß

    Chinese: Ni hao and zai jian
