Why are most babys born with blue eyes?

  • he answer to this lies in a protein called melanin - the pigment molecule that colors our skin, hair, and eyes. When a baby is born, melanin isn’t fully deposited in the irises of the eyes yet and this is what usually leads to a blue or light gray eye color. Melanin production generally increases during the first year of a baby’s life, darkening the eye color within a few months time.

  • they all usually are their eyes change color after a few days .
    the reason why im not sure lol , my daughter had bright blue now she has greyish blue i love it !

  • Black and Mexican babies are NEVER born with blue eyes- OHHH and did you know green eyes are considered a birth defect?
