Whats the purpose of a pap smear?

  • A PAP is supposed to detect abnormal cervical cells. Abnormal cervical cells can sometimes be cervical cancer.

  • Its to check for STDs and to check if you are getting cervical cancer. You can google it if you want to know more information about it.
