  • I would get some age appropriate books. Dora is popular for that age group.

  • If she is fairly girly, dress up clothes would be good...

  • i love to get kids books... there are so many good ones and the kid can look at them alone or spend time having adults read to them!

  • my dd is 4. She loves Dora, and the Disney princesses. Also like was mentioned dress up clothes. But those can be very pricey

  • My twins are four and things they love include anything that is Baby. Especially the little pretend car seats, high chair, pack n play, baby swing, etc.

They also love barbie-princesses and baby disney princesses.

One thing I recently found for a friend's little girl at Target was a set of twin babies that really "talk" to each other. It was adorable and her 4yr old loved it.

  • My 3 1/2 year old LOVES her play kitchen and her food and dishes. They're really into pretend at that age so baby dolls would be good too.

Barbies, My Little Ponies...with summer coming up maybe some bubbles, sidewalk chalk, a scooter (Wal-Mart has them for $20, my dd LOVES hers!), paint stuff. Kids love to be creative so paints and clay, stuff like that would probably be a hit with the child but consider the 'space' they may or may not have to do it in and if there are other little ones that could make a HUGE mess if gotten into. lol

My dd also loves hair clips, bows, hair ties, brushes (Dora is her favorite, she also likes Princesses), etc. Good luck.

  • Go to WalMart and get one of the Disney Princess "Polly Pocket" looking dolls!! My 4 year old daughter has hundreds of them and loves them! They have all of the princesses, and some smaller sets for around $5 that have the doll and a few accesories. Any set you get will make her so happy!! I don't know any little girls that don't love these!! http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10270755
