why do the scales change everyday. yesterday they said 145 and today they say 147 im dieting and its discouraging to see the scales go up instead of down

  • It can be water weight. If you aren't drinking enough your body will hoard it. If you getting close to that time of the month that can also play a role. Otherwise your body will have about a 5 pound range that it bounces in.

  • I agree with the prev. poster. Water weight gain is the worst for women. Make sure you are drinking only water. Adding sugar drinks and even too many sugar free substitutes can make this fluctuate. Also, watch the amount of fiber. Keeping your colon clean and clear will also keep the old food moving thru the bowels. And water will also help this.
