How long after you eat or drink something does it turn up in your breast milk?

  • I believe for alcohol, it's an hour to two hours, and you should pump that serving and discard.

  • Within an hour or so. No need to pump and dump for ONE drink. Safe to drive, safe to nurse.

  • My doctor told me 8 hours. And to never drink if I were breastfeeding. EVERYTHING you taste, the baby tastes.
