  • haha, when my son was born I couldn't think of all the lyrics to most of the nursery songs I knew..so I sang 5 little monkeys jumping on the bed to him. He loved it. I eventually remembered the lyrics to This old Man, and One Two, Buckle My Shoe.. I can't sing twinkle Twinkle Little star for the life of me (sad, I know, but I can't carry a tune in a bucket..)

  • We have a few favorites right now - I sing the each one line by line, and my 19 month old DD fills in the last word, so we'll do

    Me - "twinkle twinkle little..."
    Her - "Darr"
Me How I wonder what you..."
    Her- "ARRRR"

    And;

Me- "Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer..."
    Her- "Dooooo"
Me- "I'm half crazy all for the love of..."
Her- "Loooooo" (she can't say "you")

    And her favourite -

    Me - "I love.."
    Her - "Loooo"
    Me - "You love..."
    Her - "Meeeee"
    Me - "we're a happy..."
    Her- "Famwee wee"

    She's a cutie.

  • Baby Mine, Twinkle Twinkle, You Are My Sunshine, Cowboys Lament, There Is A Tavern In the Town.

The last two are songs that my Grandpa sang to my Mom and she sung to me. They are not really baby songs but my boys like them.

  • Jesus Loves The Little Children
    Jesus Loves You
The Barney I Love You song - it stuck in my head all these years from when my girls were little!
Let's Go Fly A Kite (from Mary Poppins and I swing her up high as I sing "uuuup to it's highest height" to make her laugh)

Bye the way, I'm a Grammy now and only have a 3 month old granddaughter to sing these songs to anymore. I'm so loving that I get to sing them again!
