What's the difference between light and dark...

Brown sugar?
So there is a light and dark brown sugar and I don't know what's the difference besides color. LOL I'm cooking these muffins and it needs light brown sugar...I have dark brown sugar. I just want to know if it'll change the taste or something.

  • Dark brown sugar has more molasses in it. I don't think it really makes a difference, I just prefer to use light brown sugar.
