how many ounces of formula?

how many ounces should i be giving my 9 month old & how often i give her 5 every 4 hours

  • mine was taking in about 1 oz per pound of body weight per day and eating 4 oz of food in the am 8 oz of food for luch and 8 oz of food for dinner, but my LO weighed 14 1/2 pounds at that age. She is now 10 1/2 mos.

  • Wow, 14 1/2 lbs at 9 months. My daughter is 10 1/2 months and probably weighs about 23lbs. She has an 8oz in the morning,, 8oz before bed and 2-3 6oz bottles throughout the day and a 4oz jar of baby food 3 times a day.

  • It depends on what kind and how much food she's getting. Mine had about 20-24oz of milk at that age, but they were eating all table foods.

  • depends on the kid. my son is 10 1/2 months, 21 pounds, and he takes 18 oz a day. i've tried to give him more but he refuses.
