  • Do you have speakers? Are they plugged in and turned on? Does the sound work with a headset? Did you check the volume levels?

  • First you need to see if you have a sound card.

    Go to START menu.
    Then over to ALL PROGRAMS.
Click on : Accessories to SYSTEM INFORMATION

Then you will see system summary.
Click that..then under COMPONENTS you should see:MULITI MEDIA
    Click SOUND DEVICE

It should tell you if you have Creative Audio or something like that and what drive it can be found in.

You may be able to do a SEARCH for sound device

    Hope this helps you out!!!!

ALSO......go to : www.download.com and search for BELARC ADVISOR....this is an AWESOME tool to have to tell you EVERYTHING that has been downloaded onto your computer!

AND it is FREE to download!!
