  • Yes its normal. your body is just goin through alot of changes getting ready for the baby. It sounds like you are leaking a little. try some breast pads if it continues or is enought to bother you. Also, you might try not washing your nipples with soap, just use plain tap water (not too hot though) while in the shower to help with the dry skin. btw, I used Lansinoh cream on mine during preg and breastfeeding. • Your actuall milk will not come in till about 1-3 days after having the baby. What it sounds like is colostrum, it is a clear yellowish liquid, and comes in anytime near the last few months of pregnancy is normal. Sounds like you are leaking a bit and it is building up on yor nipples, completely normal. I agree with previous though and dont use soap on your nipples anymore when you wash, your breasts make aspecial lubricant that keeps them clean and soup will dry them out even more and make the dead skin worse. Just another one of the odd things that happen to womens bodies during pregnancy.

  • just wanted to add to the above post that your milk can actually take as many as 5-7 days to come in after having the baby.
