does it make you laugh when people use certain saying and dones even use the correct words?

like...
"You're taking me for granted."

and instead they say..."You're taking me for granite."

LMAO it seriously cracks me up they think thats how you say it.

any other ones you can think of?

  • I call my dad Archy Bunker because he is the WORST when it comes to words-
    he calles my sister a "hypological lire" LOL
    He called HIS mother his betrothed thinking it ment the women that birthed him
    and my ALL Time favorite is!

    He has a bit of a mental disorder but still its funny-and I love my pops!

  • not just sayings. My grandfather would say Battrees instead of batteries, Safeway's instead of Safeway. And my favorite is when people pronounce Oregon as oargon, and Warshington instead of washington.

  • I just posted last night about how I used to think the saying "Dog eat dog world" was actually "Doggie dog world" I thought this until I was 26! Haha!

    My mom is infamous for this too. She says "cilantra" instead of "cilantro" and my dad says "Cheerio oats" instead of "Cheerio Os"
