Will my 20 month old be OK out in the sun with us today?

It's about 80 degrees here and no clouds in the sky. We have to go get a new car today and we don;t have anywhere for our son to go so we have to take him with us. Will he be safe? i am going to cover him in SPF 70 sunblock and pack lots of water for him to drink. And he will have a hat on.

  • yeah i'm sure he'll be fine thats really not that hot, lots of water and snacks to keep him busy so he don't get fustrated or a toy or something.

  • I think you live where we do :) Usually dealerships have indoor areas, so if he starts looking overheated, you'll have a place to go. Just bring lots of water and remember to reapply the sunscreen every two hours and to apply it fairly thickly. Otherwise, the spf isn't as effective (this month's parents magazine had a great piece on sunscreen you should read if you're interested!)
