  • You can follow the Feingold diet:, or follow these simple rules:
    Eat real, whole foods
    Don't eat processed foods; cook from scratch
    Read boxes; if there are ingredients that you can't pronounce or that your great-grandmother would not recognize, don't buy them.
    Learn how to identify high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) and monosodium glutimate (MSG) in their various forms.
    My daughter was helped tremondously with her attention issues by taking fish oil supplements; we have since switched to hemp oil.
    I strongly urge you to find a therapist who works with people with ADD/ADHD and helps them lear to use it as an advantage. Thom Hartmann has written extensively on this topic; you should be able to find his books at your local library. He also has information on his website:
