How soon after delivery will your period be regular again....

  • If you formula feed then 6-8 weeks after you deliver. The more you breastfeed the longer it will delay your period. If you BF exclusively (no bottles, pacifiers, nurse during the night and no solids until 6 months) the average time to start is 14 mos.
    I breastfed and got it at 8 mos and 11 mos. They were regular form the get go!

  • It varies for everyone. Shoot, for me it has varied with each pregnancy. I breastfeed (which can also keep your cycles at bay). I've gone anywhere from 3 months to 10 months without a period.
