  • honestly, we buy good quality shoes for every day wear. They don't wear out as fast so we actually spend less.

  • i suggest we make them crawl their whole lives!! im kidding.....it is a bit better when you buy better quality shoes. Also, i tend to buy cheaper ones for my son to play in so that way if they get ruined by mud or whatever that it wont matter if i lost 10 bucks. I send him to preschool in his good shoes.

  • My girls are teens and have several pairs of shoes. Like most girls, they have flats, casual, semi-dressy, dressy, low heels, a bit of heels, and a higher heel. My 17 year old has running shoes because she runs a lot and stays fit. My 15 year old has gym sneakers just for PE class in school. They also have casual sneakers to wear when working in the yard.
My 17 year old is pretty much done growing so we only buy her shoes when she has a new outfit or when a pair wear out. Her running shoes last about 6 months.
My 15 year old is still growing so we have to buy her shoes more often or when a pair wears out.
We don't pass shoes on down because everyone has a different stance and it is bad to wear shoes that are broken in - especially if the previous wearer stood with their feet to the sides or insides.
    Always new shoes.
