anyone know a good recipe for a noddle salad or something? please!!!!

having a cook out today and need one!

  • 1 pk angel hair noodles
    1 green pepper diced
    1 red pepper diced
    1 med onion diced
    1 pk of diced ham cubes
    1 pk of dice cheese cubes
    2 bottle of Italian dressing

    cook pasta as directed - drain rinse under cold water for 5 mins or until pasta is cool to touch
    mix all veggies into pasta add 1/2 of bottle of Italian dressing mix with large spoon well... add cheese and meats to salad and other 1/2 of dressing. mix well put in frig until time to serve set out second bottle of dressing for others to use (add to taste)

  • Can you get to the store? Make some Suddenly Salad -- I think that's what it is. You just need to add a few things into it. Or buy some pasta salad or potato salad. Makes things less stressful!

  • Boil the noodles and chill. Add your favorite salad ingredients like: tomatos, bell peppers, cucumbers, carrots etc etc. and your favorite salad dressing. I think the italian dressing is the best. Pop it in the fridge until the cookout.

  • Copycat KFC Macaroni Salad


    * 1/2 cup sour cream
    * 1/2 cup Miracle Whip
    * 1 cup Hellmann's mayonnaise
    * 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
    * 3 tablespoons sugar
    * 1 teaspoon onion salt
    * 1/2 teaspoon pepper


    * 2 tablespoons instant minced onion
    * 2/3 cup celery, chopped
    * 2/3 cup sweet small pickles, chopped, I've used 1/3 c. sweet relish
    * 2 tablespoons chopped pimiento or green or red bell pepper
    * 1/2 small tomato, seeded,chopped
    * 8 cups elbow macaroni, cooked,drained

    Cool macaroni well before adding dressing.

    Combine dressing ingredients and set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in large bowl. Coat well with the dressing. Refrigerate at least an hour before serving

  • 2 cups whole-wheat rotini (6 ounces)
    1/3 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
    1/3 cup low-fat plain yogurt
    2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
    1 tablespoon red-wine vinegar or lemon juice
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    Freshly ground pepper to taste
    1 cup cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
    1 cup diced yellow or red bell pepper (1 small)
    1 cup grated carrots (2-4 carrots)
    1/2 cup chopped scallions (4 scallions)
    1/2 cup chopped pitted kalamata olives
    1/3 cup slivered fresh basil

    1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta, stirring occasionally, until just tender, 8 to 10 minutes, or according to package directions. Drain and refresh under cold running water.
