I'm looking for some interactive websites. I found a lot of websites with worksheets, however I need some Reading sites that I can work with my kids on enhancing their Reading skills. I already have workbooks that I can use just want some sites where they can follow the words, or fill in missing letters(consonant beginning sounds you know?).
My twins will be in K this fall, and they can count well past 100, add numbers in the hundreds(*you know six hundred plus five hundred, five plus six is 11 add the zeros), count change. This is just stuff they have gradually learned by asking questions once in a while like "mommy how many pennies is this?" LOL But i want them to learn the "basics" just to give them a little headstart before school begins. I want it to be FUN not like work.
I just quit my job to work with them and spend more time at home. So any ideas you have would be appreciated. Thanks! :)
I use starfall.com in my class and it is great. There are several sites like Teaching A-Z that have stuff, kidzone.com, learningpage.com----just tons. A good spelling one is spellingcity.com--you put in the words, so you could go with a color theme, or what you feel is appropriate.
