It could fall either north, south, east, or west and anywhere in between.

  • If a rooster took the egg from the chicken and climbed up to the roof carrying said egg, then he could lay the egg on the peak of the roof!
If he did so, and placed it with such precision that it was perfectly balanced, then the egg would not fall on either side of the roof at all.
Now, if the chicken discovered what the rooster had done, she may come after him with a rolling pin and bash his brains in, which would cause HIM to fall from the roof! Since he was facing East to watch the siunrise and the chicken snuck up behind him to bash his head in, then he would fall forward to the East.
The chicken would then take her precious egg and head on back to her nest in the barn.
    Case solved.
