  • No, we are not property in islam. Children are not property in islam. I don't know where you heard that but you got some wrong info there.

  • No, that is not true.

    There are some countries that do not value human life as they should, but this is not because of a specific religion. Rather it is a combination of zealot practices, cultural ideas, and the under education of the population and a nationally low income/poverty level.

    Please remember, women and children were not held in high regard in early Xtian practices either (and in some practices are still seen as second class). The belief that women and children are not on the same level with men is an idea that can be "practiced" in any are of the world, under the guise of any religion. IMO its more of a cultural practice than a religious one...some people just use the religious excuse to make people believe it more and question it less.
