Should I have a c-section??

ok today i found out that i tested positive for type b strep. they say it wont hurt the baby and when i looked it up it said it can cause blindness, strep, stillborns, etc.. how doesnt that hurt the baby?? should i have a c-section so it dont pass to the baby??

  • They give you antibiotics and your baby will be fine

  • They give you IV antibiotics and that prevents it from passing to your baby. Everything will be fine there is no need to have a c-section because of it. If you want more information about it call your doctor and talk to him about it. This way you know that your getting the right information. Just vioce your concerns.
