Should your religion dictate your underware color?

Yes, you read that right. Our local Catholisism weekly was accidently delivered to my door. I obviously don't subscibe... But I decided to read it. There was an article about how different colors affect people in different ways and how because of that a true Catholic only wears white underware because all other colors are unpure...

Let me just tell you I did LOL!! But I had to post!
Let me know what you think? And if you are Catholic please please let me know if you wear colored undies... Just because I think this is hillarious and I'm sure it's not the normal opinion or a church teaching!

  • Oh my! I have never heard that before. I think that sounds kinda silly, but if a person sincerely believes that and lives by that, then I respect that. Whatever makes it work for them and makes them feel better. I did open my door to the JW man thats been coming around and hes so nice so I allowed him to leave the watchtower publication at my home. I also told him he could come back next month since he was so nice. He asked politely. I think theres a lot of good information in those.

I'm not Catholic, but my religion doesn't dictate ANY article of my clothing.

  • That's why I don't wear ANY underwear. I find them ALL evil- the way they ride up your crack or hang out of your pants...

  • Yeah, my religion never sadi anything about my panty choice. I mean, really, who is going to see them besides you, your SO or maybe your doc? It's not like we all go around lifting up each others skirts or pulling down each others pants to check the color. I wonder if there is a church that does that? Hummm..... that opens up a whole other can of worms.

  • Whatever is available at Target, baby. Lately I've had alot of pink flowers. How could that possibly be evil? Now my husband has some Sponge Bob. I can see where that might be evil. And the teenager likes his blue so they don't show too much when his jeans slide down. Very practical. See if they would let the priests marry they wouldn't be so bored that they have to write stuff like that. I'm not Catholic, but I may never wear white underwear again just to annoy them. I hope the buyer at Target didn't get that newsletter.

  • Haha, it actually sounds funny. I believe for a Christian, modesty is the guideline (no hoochie-length skirts/shorts or super-low cut shirts or midriff tees). But I don't follow anything as far as underwear. Lol. I don't wear thongs, but that is just me.

  • My undies are all different colors. I don't think that the color of your underwear determines who you are or what your relationship with God is. And I doubt God cares very much what's under my jeans.
