Not eating very much

Kylie usually eats baby food AT LEAST 3 times a day. She is 8 months old. Lately these past couple days she won't eat very much.. Usually with the baby food she will eat 6oz of formula. Now she eats 2oz sometimes 4 if I'm lucky and a bite or 2 of food. What could be the reason?

  • That's totally normal. My doctor once told me, "Don't worry about what they eat in a day, worry about what they eat in a week." Both of my children went through periods when they would eat one big meal a day, and pick at the other two. Chances are, in a week or two, you'll be thinking, "Why is this child eating so much? I can't keep the baby food in the house!" That will be growth spurt time. Your little one could just be preparing for a growth spurt. :)

  • Right now she has a small stomch but at 8 months she will be going threw a growth spurt like jodie said. She might also not like the taste of the baby food, my little girl hated it so i ended up grinding her food in my grinder and she ate more of that then her baby food. good luck honey she give it time she will come around
