is it normal for pregnat woman too have lower back pain

it started last night and its a sharp pain in my lower back

  • Absoutely, try a rice bag on your back at night, it can really help.

    It's all worth it in the end!

  • The only time I had sharp lower back pain was when I was in labor, and that was the only symptom of labor I had. I doubt its important but it is something to keep an eye on

  • in the beginning i used a heating pad, but twords the end an ice pack feels better to me. good luck. oh p.s. it could also be sciatica if its a real sharp pain (thats when the baby is sitting on your sciatic nerve) and for that its basically the same treatment, but it doesnt last the whole time like just the aching back does. try some tylenol (acetometaphin or whatev) if you need to. good luck! =)
