Trying to be fair...

I am keeping a log of my weight loss weekly in addition to daily food journal and exercise. I happened to pick a time right before my period. I weigh in every friday and I started my period today. How much weight do you think is a resonable amount to gain during your period? I don't want to be too generous or too hard on myself.

  • It can fluctuate by a few pounds. Instead of focusing on pounds this first week since you are having your period, maybe you could focus more on other goals, like eating enough vegetables or drinking enough water or having healthier snacks. By focusing on other food/exercise goals, you can make things easier on yourself while still progressing.
