11 month old doesn't like meat...any suggestions?

My daughter is not a big fan of meat. How do I get her to like meat, particularly turkey and chicken?

She is 11 months old and has 4 teeth (2 upper, 2 lower).

  • I would mix all the food together and see if she would like it that way. My daughter would eat her meat, veggies, and fruit all together.. lol

  • She doesn't need to like meat. Humans can live very healthy lives without it. My 13 year old has never had more than a couple of bites.
Feed her whole grains, like brown rice and whole wheat pasta (much more nutrition and protein than the simple/white versions. She can eat beans and lentils now (loaded with protein, iron and calcium) and, after her birthday, tofu and seitan.

  • She doesn't need it...don't force it. My DD is being raised VEgetarian...try lentils, beans, cheese, yogurt for protein....noone NEEDS meat.

  • OP

Ok, I understand that we don't NEED meat. And I'm not asking about the benefits of a vegetarian diet. I am asking how I can get her to eat meat. I'm not trying to trample on anyone's beliefs, but they are not MY beliefs. I eat meat and I would like my daughter to eat meat too. I would never FORCE it on her...
