  • I could care less is my first thought...I don't like couldn't...it sounds beter could not....seems like w the not it makes it past tense?? lol

  • I guess I haven't really thought of it that much, before now. It seems like 'I couldN'T care less' would be a double neg. But maybe I am wrong, personally I say 'I COULD care less.'

  • I too ponder these things. These are the questions that keep my mind too busy to sleep at nite. LOL ...I use " I could not have cared less". Hope that answers one of the many questions worth pondering... try this one.. "Take it with a grain of Salt"..now there is one to think about too. LOL

  • It would be I couldN'T care less - you are saying you care as little as possible you could not care less. If you say I could care less then you are saying you could go lower on the caring scale.
