Once the baby's head has dropped and they are in position, do they remain there until birth or can they reposition at any time?

  • once the head has dropped into the pelvic region they generally stay put, though I'm not an expert.

  • The generally stay put BUT some babies will move an change positions until the day of birth. I spoke to a women last week whose baby turned into a breech position the day before she went into labor but flipped back into a head down position right before labor began.

  • wow busy babies sooo excited i cant wait!!!! and to answer your question all babies are different but most stay put anywhere from 3 to 7 days before labor but can sometimes move
