Couple told to stop home bible study or pay thousands for a permit! I guess there is no longer the right to assemble in one's own home.
Pastor David Jones and his wife Mary have been told that they cannot invite friends to their San Diego, Calif. home for a bible study — unless they are willing to pay tens of thousands of dollars to San Diego County.

  • Ok I checked another source on this. It was creating heavy traffic and one of his neighbors cars was hit by one of the people attending the meeting.

  • Because he has 15 people every week who clog up the street with their cars and finally hit someone else's car

  • So what if they have a lot of cars outside their house! People have birthday parties, open houses, family reunions, all kinds of other gatherings at their homes with TONS AND TONS of cars parked outside! Is anyone demanding we get permits for those as well?

    Do you do that once a week, every week? If you did, are you sure your neighbors wouldn't get fed up with your friends and family blocking their driveways every week?
