Do you have a secret ingredient in any of your cooking?

Mine is Balsamic Vinegar. If something is a little bland in goes the vinegar...just a dash. I use it in everything...baked beans, potato soup, mac and cheese...pretty much everything gets a dash.lol
Do you have anything that you put in everything, that nobody else knows about?

  • Seriously.....

I add garlic to a LOT. I am a garlic fiend and if I can afford it, I use actual garlic cloves instead of garlic powder. Another thing is mccormick garlic sea salt that comes in a grinder all it's own, LOVE to add that.

Mmm Garlic. :) You'd think I was trying to avoid Vampires.

  • You guys are funny! And pretty gross! ;)

I add in pureed veggies to just about anything I can. What they don't know won't hurt em, right?

  • devilI was going to say I use Emeral's Essence until I read the first few additives. Then, I'm just scared and very glad I'm not going to be invited for dinner!

  • Soul seasoning. I discovered it here in Florida but never saw it when we lived up north.

  • Mustard- especially in soups. Gets rid of that "it needs something" flavor.
