  • If you mean any kid (my husband) :), he only gets one if it's a birthday, christmas, fathers day, any special day if we have the money. Or if we have a bunch of games to trade in and a new one won't cost us more than $10.

My kids will have the same rules. No monthly allowance for video games!!! They get them when we have money and they are good!

  • Nothing. I refuse to have them in my house. If my daughter wants one (she is 13), she can save her babysitting money and buy herself one, as she has done with 2 ipods, a digital camera, a cell phone and some the juicy shorts at Loehmann's that her mean mother refused to buy her.

  • None. My DH is not allowed Vidoe games and if DD wants one then either MIL pays for it or she gets it for christmas. But really she does not even have one because they are not allowed in my house. So they all stay at grandmas but as far as I know she does not have any there either

  • We usually save that for Christmas/birthday presents. I don't buy them any other time of year. My son is content with his 2-3 favorites.
