28 weeks messurging big?

Im 28 weeks and the doctor said I was messuring big, is that normal, what does that mean? can it change my due date?

  • nah, doesn't change the due date...usually just mean the baby is filling out...not necessarily "too big" for you either. i'm sure everything fine.

  • It could be as simple as the babys butt sticking up in the air!! No, they dont change your due date becuase you are measuring big but alot of doctors will send you for an u/s if your dates & measurement vary by more than 4 weeks

  • If this is your second pregnany it is normal, it is also normal for first pregnancies also, it could be the baby is bigger, the conception date is off, etc.... Also measurements are not 100 percent. It is an estiment of gestational age. Dont worry unless the Doc says other wise.

  • It's ok and normal to be measured bigger. Alot of the time the doctor is telling you that your baby is growing nicely and is bigger than the last time you were measured.
