What should I do - small area under my 18mo son's eye is red?

I don't see any puss, just slight pinkish area. He's not rubbing or touching it and acting somewhat normal - just a little fussy today. Yesterday the area was slightly bruised looking so I just thought he got it while playing around. The area isn't really swollen as far as I can tell and his eye is fine - the whites are still white, not red/pink... I will take him to the doctor tomorrow if it gets worse. Could it be infected?

  • The skin or his eye ball. Sorry but you say right under his eye so that makes me think of the skin. He probably bumped it or something. I wouldn't really worry unless it gets pusy. Don't know if that's the right spelling but didn't want to add another s. LOL.
