How long did it take for the cramping pain to stop during breastfeeding?

  • a week or so. the cramping is actually your uterus shrinking back to normal. the more you nurse the sooner it will shrink.

  • With Becka, it was a couple months.

    With Taegen, it is already dying down and she's only 5 days old. :)

  • I hurt bad with ds but only for the first day with dd everyone is different

  • It was about 2 months for me with both. It didn't really hurt, but I could definitely feel it cramping up a little during each feeding session.

  • It usually increases with subsequent children, but a lot of it depends on you, your body, your baby, your birth, your healing, etc.
